In approximately 2000 a friend unfortunately ran into some financial problems and had to sell some of his prized bikes.  Jim was only too happy to add this Cinelli to his collection.  It had already been nicely restored including a CyclArt paint job and numerous NOS parts.  The only parts that are not exactly period correct are a Cinelli stem in near perfect condition but probably from an earlier era and Nitto handlebars, which are very clearly influenced by period correct Cinelli bars and which are slightly wider than typical Cinelli bars for this era. The wheels are custom made early Fiamme tubular rims and stainless steel spokes. Jim always considered it to be more of a museum piece than a regular rider and in fact it remained unridden since the 2000 restoration and new paint job. Bike was sold in Feburary 2025.
